Help with Tabmoat

If something here doesn't answer your question, email support@middledott.com with the page address and what happened.

Chrome says Tabmoat is “not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing”

You can click Continue to install. If you have Enhanced Safe Browsing turned on, Chrome shows this for any extension from a developer it doesn’t know yet. Tabmoat is new on the Chrome Web Store, and Google says it can take a few months before it trusts a new developer. The warning isn’t about anything Tabmoat does, and Tabmoat sends nothing about you anywhere (see the privacy policy).

A site doesn’t work properly

Click the Tabmoat button in your toolbar and turn the switch off for that site. The page reloads without Tabmoat. Then email us the page address so we can fix it for everyone.

YouTube takes a second or two to start

A video that would have opened with an ad can take a moment to start. YouTube’s servers hold the video back for about the length of the ad, and that happens on their side, not in your browser. Videos with no ad planned start straight away.

A “verify you are human” check appears

Tabmoat leaves these checks alone on purpose, so complete them as usual. If one won’t load, turn Tabmoat off for that site and email us.

Turning Tabmoat back on for a site

Open that site, click the Tabmoat button and turn the switch on again.

Uninstalling

Right-click the Tabmoat button and choose Remove from Chrome. Chrome deletes the sites you switched off and the ad servers Tabmoat learned along with it.
