Privacy policy

Tabmoat doesn't collect anything about you.

It doesn't send anything anywhere either. The few things it keeps to work stay on your computer, and uninstalling deletes them.

Last updated 17 October 2026

Tabmoat is a browser extension made by MiddleDott Technologies. This policy covers the extension and this website.

What Tabmoat does not do

  • It does not collect or sell personal data.
  • It does not record the pages you visit or send them to us or anyone else.
  • You never sign in or make an account, and Tabmoat has no analytics.
  • It does not download code after you install it. Everything it runs ships inside the extension.

What Tabmoat keeps on your computer

To work, Tabmoat stores a few things in your browser’s own extension storage. They never leave your device.

  • The sites you switched Tabmoat off for, so it stays off there.
  • How many ads and tricks it blocked in each open tab, for the toolbar button. This is cleared when the tab closes.
  • Ad servers it caught opening pop-under tabs, so it can block them next time. It keeps at most 2,000 of these, each for 30 days at most.

Uninstalling Tabmoat deletes all of it.

Why Tabmoat asks to read every site

Ads and pop-up tricks can appear on any website, so Tabmoat has to run on every page to stop them. It reads a page only to find and block ads on it. It saves only the items listed above, and it doesn’t send what it reads anywhere.

This website

This site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date. Tabmoat will never start collecting data without saying so here first.
